Invisalign & Invisalign Teen

While the end results may appear the same — a confident, beautiful smile — when you stop and actually compare Invisalign to other teeth-straightening options, the advantages become quite apparent. Knowing the pros and cons of each option ahead of time will help you make a more confident decision. Dr. Fenderson is a Premier Provider of Invisalign and loves the new technology they continue to add to Invisalign. While Invisalign has always been able to straighten teeth, Dr. Fenderson can now achieve high quality Orthodontic corrections, using Invisalign, for around 80% of her patients. Schedule a Free Consultation to find out if Invisalign is right for you.

Traditional Braces w/ Colored Bands

Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colorful smile.
The Damon System of Self-Ligating Braces

Self-ligating braces use a specialized clip in place of elastics to help the archwire guide teeth into place. These clips help reduce the amount of pressure being placed on the tooth and require fewer adjustments because there are no elastics to replace. A shorter treatment time is experienced by a high percentage of patients. The Damon System facilitates healthy tooth movement with complete control. By combining passive self-ligation and high-tech archwires, we can minimize discomfort and create beautiful smiles that last a lifetime!

Surgical Orthodontics

Orthodontics is designed to reposition and straighten teeth. Surgery, performed by an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, may be needed in some cases to correct more severe jaw irregularities. Dr. Fenderson can tell you if surgery is needed as part of your treatment. The need for surgical orthodontics occurs when the jaws do not line up correctly, and a proper bite cannot be acheived with orthodontic treatment alone. Braces are often worn in conjunction with orthognathic surgery to make sure the teeth stay in the proper position.
